Our only disappointment was that the lounge at Mystique didn't have a live band to dance to that night. My favorite bar at Morongo is Mystique, but it was full on this Sunday night. Next, we gambled a bit at the Pit Bar, as I like playing video poker at the bar of a casino. He brought out a mini-birthday cake (actually quite big) to celebrate my birthday. His service was wonderful, and he encouraged us to linger and enjoy ourselves. We had an excellent waiter, Steve, who began our meal with a complimentary taste of an Italian sparkling wine. We noticed that the chandeliers above changed color to match the color scheme of the paintings. Huge picture frames held artworks that changed every so often. I was not disappointed! The room is gorgeous, with candles everywhere and large, cushy booths. I had reserved a table at Cielo, the restaurant up on top for my birthday dinner. We just stayed at Morongo Casino last weekend with another couple and had a blast! Check-in on Sunday was easy- no problems at all! The casino was very busy, but we had dinner plans first.
